Assignment #1 - Wandering Through the Internet (Initial research) (5%)
Due: Thursday, January 14 on your HOTGLUE page

Post 6 research sources (or tangents) that you are interested in investigating at the moment. Posts might include: links; images; notes; quotes; concepts; interests you might have; colours; textures; etc. Consider: what are you interested in? What do you care about? What could you get lost in thinking about for a while?

This is a chance to begin exploring your individual research interests: these sources might develop into your final project, or…they might not – don’t be precious about it at this point. Think about this project like a brainstorm for future/potential projects.

You will lead a conversation about this (potential) research to a breakout group in class on Thursday, January 14th. In preparation for your presentation write an introduction that takes the form of a short letter (or text or post or email), to read out loud to the group that helps introduce your research while also giving a sense of where your interest in it stems from. This text should be written in your personal voice and can be casual in form; post it on your HOTGLUE page along with images prior to your presentation.
